PostSubject: The IVA in Relation to Diversity of the Community   Wed Oct 27, 2010 1:16 pm

The IVA is NOT an attempt to force any particular set of views on the Vampyre community.

We have a diverse and unique community, with many beliefs and views about what constitutes Vampyre culture and spirituality (often described as a "sub-culture", and diverse views on feeding ethics and guidelines.

As a growing community of individuals and groups spanning states, continents, languages, cultures - and spanning the world - we are diverse indeed.

The IVA recognizes that this diversity may well be one of the defining characteristics and uniqueness of what can be described as Vampyre culture, and undertakes to both preserve and nurture this unique character and diversity.

The IVA undertakes to show respect to the diverse nature of the Vampyre community, and the ethics and belief systems of its member groups, and to pursue ways of achieving set goals without compromising on our diversity or the preservation thereof.
